“Stan” is the third single from The Marshall Mathers LP, by rapper Eminem featuring Dido. Eminem helped introduce Dido to a US audience when he received permission from Dido herself to sample “Thank You” in “Stan.” Coincidentally, both songs were released as singles in late 2000s. “Stan” peaked at number one in the United Kingdom and Australia and Rolling Stone magazine ranked the song #290 in their list in The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
